In Finland, there are free fishing rights for everyone including angling and ice fishing and also traditional worm fishing and fishing with herring. For other types of fishing, all 18-64-year-olds need a fishing permit, which can be easily purchased online. By paying the fish management fee, you can fish with one lure as well as cast fish. In addition to the fish management fee, you need a separate permit for special fishing destinations, such as the Lastukoski fishing area.
