In Tahko, cross-country skiing takes place in some of the most beautiful landscapes, with pleasant rest stops and a wide range of services along the way. The ski trails start from central locations, making it easy to access the tracks directly from accommodation or nearby parking areas.

The area’s trail network winds from the heart of the tourist area to Nilsiä, from golf courses to cottage villages, across open fields and through forests. In mid-winter, the trails also extend across the frozen surface of Lake Syväri and reach the highest points of Nipanen.

There is a wide selection of trails of varying lengths and difficulty levels, which can be combined according to your mood and ability.

  • Total length of ski trails: 67 km (classic and freestyle)
  • Illuminated trails: approximately 20 km, lights switch off at 9:00 PM
