Sledding hill and other sledding areas in Tahko

The location of the sledding hill in Tahko varies depending on the progress of winter and the amount of snow and ice.

Before the slopes open, sledders descend the hills of Tahko’s outdoor activity park and the hills of the event field in front of Tahko Spa Hotel. As the season progresses, sledding is also available in some marked slope areas of the ski resort

A gentle sledding hill, suitable for the youngest family members is located next to the Mini Mountain area ( slope number 8 ) near the surface lift, close to Pude’s lean-to. An excellent spot where you can easily keep an eye on all the children in your group, even if some are on the slopes, some sledding, and some roasting sausages. Restaurant Tirol’s services are also nearby.

The second short sledding hill in the slope area is located at the base of the Special slope ( slope number 1 ) this year, where a netted slope is set towards the ice parking lot. This sledding area is open until it is safe to organize considering the conditions.

Sledding elsewhere in the ski resort area is prohibited for safety reasons. Sledding in Tahko is always free, and if you forget your own sledding equipment at home, you can rent them from various equipment rental shops near the slopes.
