Tahko Panorama chairlift

Take a lift to the top and admire the lakeside views

Enjoy the view from the top of Tahko with friends and family or use the lift as a part of the hiking or biking trip. This scenic lift is a four-person chairlift with its lower station located at the base of the Panorama slope — on the right-hand edge of the slope area when viewed from the lake. The chairlift is open to pedestrians and cyclists during the summer and autumn opening days. During the ski season, the lift is reserved exclusively for skiers.

Next to the lift’s upper station is the Panorama Bar & Café, a slope restaurant offering stunning views, as well as the Panorama Landscape Hotel, which includes forest spa and restaurant. On the other side of the slope area, next to the observation tower, serves Pehku, which is about a 1 km walk from the upper lift station. All slope restaurants are also accessible by car.

The chairlift is shared with downhill cyclists riding at Tahko Bike Park.

Arrival and parking

• On foot or by bike
  TWhen arriving from the center of Tahko, first cross the Tahko bridge. After the bridge, continue to the right along the gravel road that runs at the base of the slopes for about 750 meters.
• By car
  The nearest large parking area is located at the end of Tahko Bay, at the address Tahkolaaksontie 1. From there, it is a 1.4 km walk to the lower lift station. If needed, you can also drive all the way to the lift via the same road that runs along the base of the slopes. Please inform us in advance if you are arriving with a larger group or by bus, as parking space at the lower station is limited.
